2018 RAM Power Wagon Inherits Popular New Color Scheme

By Justin Cupler | September 25th, 2018

Just because the 2019 models are hitting our new-car showroom serving Saginaw, Michigan doesn’t mean we can’t give a little love to the 2018 models. And that’s just what RAM is doing by offering Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland car buyers a new color package on the 2018 RAM Power Wagon.

Meet the Mojave Sand Package for the 2018 RAM Power Wagon. This color option was, at one time, the fastest-selling hue on the RAM Rebel, so there is no reason it shouldn’t sell well on this off-road-prepped rig.

The star of the 2018 RAM Power Wagon’s Mojave Sand Package is, of course, the Mojave Sand paint job. It also boasts a set of 18-inch black wheels to help set off this popular hue with a little added contrast.

The Mojave Sand Package goes well beyond just a new color. RAM truck shoppers in Saginaw, Michigan will also get the RAM Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED bed lighting, an overhead console, power-folding mirrors with heat, and a universal garage door opener.

The RAM Power Wagon, which is based on the RAM 2500 Heavy Duty Crew Cab with four-wheel drive, will continue to boast big-time off-road features. These include a 2-inch lift, 14.3 inches of ground clearance, locking front and rear differentials, an electronic-disconnecting front sway bar, 33-inch off-road tires, a 12,000-pound winch, and a 6.4-liter V-8 Hemi engine with 410 horsepower.

RAM will build only 1,500 2018 Power Wagon Mojave Sand models, and each one will cost $54,830, plus a $1,695 destination fee. We expect to see it on our Saginaw new-car dealership in the fourth quarter of 2018.
